Thoughts on Individuality

Individuality and the dimino personality: Who will be next?:

Individuality, in conjunction with the personality of an individual, has always been perceived as a mystery to humankind.

In almost every generation, throughout the course of human history, there have always been individuals with unique personalities, who seem to appear on the horizon of history and suddenly, blossom in terms of charisma, popularity, leadership ability, achievement, artistry or music.

It is as if these individuals come out of nowhere and immediately, begin to take on a pre-designated role in our complex world. They seem to know exactly what they are called to do and manage to fulfill their tasks completely, in a way that no one else has been able to do until that time.

Interestingly, the tasks that they take on appear to require almost no visible effort on their part.

Individuals with this personality stand alone and over time, they seem to remain standing. Somehow, it defines their individuality.

For many different reasons, it appears as if they are pre-destined to be remembered in history. Their lives are so remarkable that the people in their world will not allow them to be forgotten.

What one must wonder is how someone who appears to be a non-distinct or non-existent individual to the world, suddenly emerges into existence and succeeds in taking over a dominant role in our world.

How can this person emerge, rise right to the top and stay there throughout the course of history?

Look at the personality that is manifest by these unique individuals.

First, they seem to demonstrate a personality that does not need to lean upon anyone else or anything else, in order to emerge, surface in some way or to remain standing in time.

Individuals, who tend to lean on others, wind up falling down in the end. When the first one topples over, in whatever way or for whatever reason, the rest will follow suit immediately. We may not ever comprehend why they fall; we just know that they do.

The personality of this kind of an individual may be compared to the first person standing in a row of dominoes. Each domino leans on the one prior to it. When one domino tumbles, the rest follow suit.
I will refer to this personality as a domino personality.

The dimino personality, on the other hand, seems to be different in a number of ways.

These individuals emerge and stand the test of time, even though they are invariably standing alone and often, go through many different kinds of adversity and conflict. It does not seem to stop them from doing what they appear to have been called to do. They seem to find a way to circumvent any obstacles that are in their pathways. They are determined to succeed, no matter what happens.

This personality may not appear to have been existing in them, prior to the actual time of its emergence. If it was in existence prior to its apparent emergence, somehow it goes unnoticed until exactly the right moment. Then there is no way that it will go unnoticed.

I will refer to this as a dimino emergence.

When this personality emerges, it does so quite suddenly and radically. It has a distinct reason for its emergence, at that time or in that place, even though that reason may not be discovered until much later in history.

The dimino personality is a very strong and powerful personality, beyond being a dominant personality trait. I don't think that this can be considered to be a trait. It is more likely to be what I would like to refer to as a wholological or holological personality. The wholological would refer to its wholeness or totality, while the holological would refer to its sacred or profane aspects.

The dimino personality seems to be a complex personality with many different facets to it. If one could place all of these facets on a continuum of one to one hundred, it might be suggested that every single possible facet is present in a dimino personality.

A domino personality, on the other hand, needs to complete or to compliment its facets, by drawing on other individuals. In itself, it appears to be incomplete.

While there are those who would like to dissect personalities into multiple personality traits or diagnose people with different kinds of personality disorders, the dimino personality appears to be one that is not only quite complex, but it is a complete whole or a totality. There is nothing lacking in it and it does not appear to be a fragmented personality in any way, shape of form.

The domino personality might be considered to be more of a fragmented personality, trying to fill its lack or needs through others.

It seems like the dimino personality in an individual, demonstrates the presence of everything that is required or needed, in order for the individual to accomplish whatever role or task has been somehow designated or pre-destined for him or her to accomplish, on the horizon of time. Nothing appears to be lacking.

Up to this time, to the best of my knowledge, no one has studied the distinctions between the domino personality and the dimino personality. There is probably more that can be said about both.

While we do not know when or from where, the next dimino personality will emerge in an individual, we do know one thing for certain. If we can truly state that there has been one individual with a dimino personality in human history, there will more than likely be more. There will always be domino personalities, as well.

The mystery of individuality continues with respect to the dimino personality, as we ask, "Who will be next?"

Needed Discoveries

Dimino dynamics: From non-existence to existence

What is needed in terms of discoveries is an awareness of the reality of dimino dynamics.

How is it possible for what is not, to become what is?

If it is true that nothing gives birth to nothing, then, it must be said, that it takes something to give birth to something else. But, something, in its earliest stages, can appear to be non-existent, as well. Sometimes, it is only at a later stage of development that it appears to exist or it can be shown to exist.

At some point in time and place, something that appears to be in a state of non-existence changes, progresses or passes through some kind of a phase that demonstrates dynamics that allow an actual state of existence.

This is what I will refer to as dimino dynamics, the dynamics of emergence from non-existence to existence.

Take the concept of energy as an example.

Energy may not appear to exist, at times. If we were able to measure all of the energy that does exist around us, we might be astounded at what we find. We think that we are not living in an energy filled environment, because we cannot see, touch or feel it, while energy surrounds us, all of the time.

We can see and comprehend new and different forms of energy, which are now beginning to become familiar to us, like solar energy. We can even trace that kind of energy back to its source, as the sun. We have not even begun to tap into the potential of solar energy, in terms of its implications for the future of the world and humankind.

We are also beginning to comprehend the energy inherent in the wind and recognize the vast potential of wind farms, as a source of energy for the future.

What we do not understand is the dynamics of the transition from energy's non-existence to its existence.

The dimino dynamics remain a mystery.

When we begin to fully comprehend the dimino dynamics of energy, then our world view will change too, as we will begin to recognize the energy potential that exists everywhere, even though it does not appear to exist anywhere.

In our own homes, we can see all kinds of potential energy resources that may or may not ever have been recognized as such, by anyone. We look for sources of energy like hydro and natural gas and ignore the energy continually being created by other sources.

Perhaps we are just not skilled enough yet to measure energy accurately. It needs to be measured in such a way that it will be considered to be of significance to us.

Watch the pendulum of a grandfather clock, for example. It creates its own energy field, by swinging back and forth. Have we learned how to harvest that energy in any other way, than to allow that clock to turn wheels that display time? Probably not.

Watch a plant that is growing and blossoming. Day by day, it gets bigger and taller. Has anyone ever thought about measuring the energy being generated by just one plant alone? We know plants are a source of oxygen, but have we ever considered them as a source of energy?

We understand to some degree how magnetic fields work and the energy that results from them. But, do we know how to convert that energy for our use, to any great extent? One of the largest magnetic fields that we have is the north to south magnetic fields. Has anyone ever thought of tapping into that kind of energy?

On a smaller scale, we take water out of our taps every day, but seldom think about how much energy flows, as even one tap is opened to release water into a container or through a hose to water the garden?

If we take a look at mold growing on a piece of cheese, how much energy is being generated there? Can it be measured or captured?

What about the work of yeast? We can see bread dough increasing in size, but do not ever measure the energy that is being created by the yeast, which is causing that phenomenon to happen.

Has anyone ever measured the energy of air rising in a room, as the temperature increases with the sun coming in the window?

How about the energy created by a dripping faucet?

Eastern medicine recognizes energy fields in the human body; western medicine is gradually becoming increasingly aware of the same kind of a phenomenon. Do we ever think to tap into these energy fields? Perhaps the practitioners from the east do, at least to some extent.

It is the dimino dynamics that need to be examined in order for us to comprehend the transition of the non-existence of energy, to the existence of energy. When that doorway is opened, humankind will become increasingly aware of the reality that energy fields exist, all over the place. We do not recognize them, at this time or comprehend how the transition takes place.

Once the transition has taken place, we seem to be able to recognize the reality of it. We also understand that it is then definitive in nature and something that stands the test of time.

Here is a challenge to humankind. Figure out the dimino dynamics of energy, as energy progresses from the stage of non-existence to existence, instead of focusing on the rate of energy consumption per capita and the growing need for increasing amounts of energy.

We know that the need is there and that our resources are diminishing as well, or are they? Perhaps they might be growing and we do not recognize that reality yet either, because we not comprehend dimino dynamics?

What is needed in terms of discoveries is an awareness and understanding of dimino dynamics, particularly in terms of energy and energy crises. Then, we could know how to tap into other pre-existent resources, that still appear to be non-existent, but are existing in reality, as something and not as nothing.

Reflections: On the Passing of Time

The dimino mystery: The dancing dimino or the dimino dance?

The phenomenon of the emergence from non-existence to existence, represents a wonderful mystery, when examined in the light of the passing of time.

The phenomenon of the dimino mystery, is like some kind of a dance, in a particular time or place, where the dancer and the dance steps are totally unknown. The dancer is recognized because of a dance step or a dance that suddenly comes into play, at exactly the right moment.

Somehow, it appears that the dancer and the dance merge from nowhere or maybe they come from some place that we don't recognize or do not acknowledge as existing, prior to that time or place.

Behold the dancing dimino and the dimino dance!

From then on, it seems that the dancer and the dance, are both locked into our minds or perhaps our history, for generations to come.

Over time, one wonders if what happened was real or not real.

Then, one must ask the question of whether the dancer and the dance of the past, or present, will stand the test of time? What one must also question is whether the dance was already there, prior to its discovery, in that particular time or place.

How did it get from non-existence to existence?

In the lock box of our minds, what do we conceal? The figments of imagination in some world that is not real? Or, is there a deeper depth of soul, we have not found yet? Something we have not touched upon, a thought which could confound?

What about war dances or dance wars?

Are these new phenomena? No, they are not!

One might suggest that over time, we are seeing a re-emergence of the art of uncivilized or barbarian dancing, versus civilized or non-barbarian dancing. Both of these are part of the history of humankind.

Or, are these just different parts of one larger dance, hitherto unknown and unrecognized as such, in time?

One might argue that this is true from a wholological perspective, where one examines the whole of the picture of the dimino dancer and the dimino dance. It also has a holological perspective, that one might take into consideration, looking further into the realm of the sacred and the non-sacred, with respect to dancers and dancing.

Human beings have an innate ability to dance and it would seem that they have always done so, sometimes in the heat of war, but also in times of peace.

No one can deny that some people can dance better than others. People have always loved to watch other people dance. This is true of the present and will continue on, into the future.

Look at this phenomenon in the light of the need of human beings, to compete with one another, throughout time. Dance competitions are not a new phenomenon for our era either.

Dancing as a form of release for pent up emotions, is not something that is any different now, than it has been in the past. It is one way for human beings to use up excess energy.

Dancing has been, is now and will continue to be a courting ritual, in every part of the world. It has often been perceived as an expression of love. The passing of time has not changed that in any way.

Dancing can be a form of exercise for people anywhere.

We often consider dancing to be an art form and enjoy its artistic expression immensely.

The bottom line is that dancing is a natural human response to music and to rhythm. And why not? After all, the human body was created in such a way, as to respond in a positive way, to both music and rhythm.

Sometimes the response to music and rhythm takes on a negative connotation as well, with different kinds of bizarre dances emerging in different places or eras.

How are we to understand the dimino mystery of non-existence to existence, in terms of the dimino dancer and the dimino dance, with respect to the passage of time and history?

Somehow, this is all a bit like the question of which came first, the chicken or the egg. Who knows which came first in time, the dancing dimino or the dimino dance?

Perhaps we don't need to understand the dimino mystery at all, but rather, as human beings, we are called to enjoy this wonderful gift of dance, that has been given to us.

In Praise of Scientific Progress

The dimino thread: The presence of energy

Scientific progress is on-going, but when we begin to praise scientific progress, we begin to realize that there is still so much that remains to be discovered. Are we only finding fragments, or bits and pieces of scientific discoveries and completely missing out on the link that unites them together?

Everything that is anything, appears to come out of nothing, at least initially. This nothing, may or may not contain something, in one form or another. From the stage of being definable as something, it would then appear to become distinctly perceptible, as an essence or a substance.

There appears to be some kind of an on-going process happening here and while this happenstance is not necessarily perceptible, or visible immediately to the naked eye, in actual fact, it might be definable at some stage of the change that occurs, during the transition from non-existence to existence.

In other words, while nothing remains in the state of nothing, it is does not appear to be perceptible. It appears to be non-existent. When something emerges out of what appears to be that nothingness, then it would become possible to visualize it or to perceive it, with respect to having existence as a reality.

We would more than likely perceive it in terms of appearing to be or being an actual essence or a substance.

Look at the process in which non-existence becomes existence, for a brief moment.

How the process happens, we can only imagine or speculate. It becomes increasingly apparent that there has to be some kind of a linkage between the four stages, in order for this to be feasible or comprehensible.

We can understand the reality that we are able to see that out of apparent nothingness, there can emerge something, which in turn will become definable as an essence or an actual substance.

Look closely at these four stages in the non-existence to existence emergence process.

Nothing
Something
Essence
Substance

What links these four stages is the presence of energy in some form or what I will refer to as the dimino thread.

The dimino thread could be something that is important in scientific realms because it has to exist, in order for transition to take place between the four realms.

The dimino thread is the common denominator between the four stages and what ties them together. It may also be what causes the process to happen.

We cannot deny that there is an understanding of nothing, out of which nothing can emerge, but there is also an understanding of nothing, out of which something can emerge.

Nothing, out of which nothing can emerge, is in a state of non-existence.

Nothing, out of which something can emerge, is already in a stage of existence, even though it remains indistinct and non-definable at that stage.

Something, is definitely in the distinctly definable plain of existence.

The next or third stage, needs to be something that is examined in the light of being a possible or a potential essence. Essence would appear to be something, but as something that appears not to be concrete yet. It may or may not be perceivable to the naked eye, even while it does exist in time and space.

The fourth stage as substance, appears to be something which we can easily comprehend, because we can see it, touch it, feel it or taste it.

All four of the stages contain some kind of energy, which links them and causes or allows the transition or changes to occur.

I will suggest that the common denominator, in all of these four stages, is actually energy, in some form.
The question remains as how, when and where this energy can be measured. We know it exists and cannot refute its existence. Without some kind of energy, none of the transitions could take place.

This is just one example of what is lacking in terms of scientific discovery and progress. I am certain that there are many more discoveries that will be found in the future.

In conclusion, I will state that while we will continue praise scientific progress, particularly where it improves the lives of humankind and our world, it will be with the awareness that new discoveries are always on the current horizon of existence and possibly still held or perceived to be, in the realm

Bridging the Gap Between Science and Religion

Diminoing: The lifeline

Bridging the gap between science and religion may or may not be possible, but history records both poles of thought. One approach insists upon either science or religion; the other side states science and religion.

Which one is right?

It appears that there is science that negates religion and science that does not negate religion. There is also religion that negates science and religion that does not negate science.

One wonders what could be a uniting factor constituting the middle road. It is an issue that pertains to life and all human, plant and animal life, but how are we to comprehend this?

When one examines the larger picture of reality in terms of non-existence to existence, it appears that the presence of energy is just one of the factors in the diminoing process of life. But, this is only one of many possible factors in the lifeline.

I have previously suggested that energy may be a uniting factor and have referred to the presence of energy as the dimino thread.

I have also suggested that the dimino thread or the presence of energy goes from non-existence to existence, through four stages or from nothing to something and then, from essence to substance.

But, what about life itself?

One must ask this question because something that is a substance, does not necessarily prove the presence of life.

The transition from non-existence to existence appears to be a rather complex scenario.

In other words, going from nothing to something and then, from essence to substance does not necessarily constitute life, much less initiate, sustain or maintain the life of a human being. Nor does this suggest the initiated or sustained the life of anything else, for example, plant or animal life.

What are the factors needed in order to initiate and to sustain life?

Energy?

Is energy alone sufficient to generate life?

One would have to say no, as life would not be generated in a situation where only energy exists.

Is just energy enough to sustain life? No, as energy alone would probably not sustain life. One might ask what constitutes energy? Taking a look at what we already know sustains life, might give us a clue.

In order for life to be sustained, what is needed is at least, these basic essentials:

Light
Nourishment
A suitable climate or temperature
A suitable environment
Water
Air

By drawing a continuum from one to ten, one begins to see that there is room for a whole lot of other, possible factors. The presence or absence of these, after life has been initiated, could lead to life either being sustained or not sustained. If life is not sustained, then there would be death.

On the postive end of the continuum, or as a one, there is life initiated, sustained and maintained life, while on the other end of the continuum would be life that is no longer sustained or maintained, which results in death.

Look at the initiation of life for a moment.

When you place a sperm and an ovum together, there is the possibility that a human life can be generated. What results is a phenomenon that appears to be explosive in nature. Energy is generated or manifested as a new life comes into being.

This is also frequently depicted in terms of what happens in both plant and animal life.

But, a sperm without life already cannot generate life; nor can an ovum without life generate life, so both must have some inherent energy factor already, that allows the generation of further energy, in terms of propagation.

So what is the source of energy and this life?

Can one suggest that energy begets energy? Is that possible?

In eastern thought, the life force is mentioned frequently, as the source and the maintainer of life. It is found in all human, as well as plant and animal life.

In western thought, particularly with respect to Christianity, life is perceived as being from God originally and being sustained by God. One comes from God and returns to God. Also all plants and animals are perceived as having been created by God.

Science attempts to take some kind of a middle road between the two, but falls short in not being able to create life.

Obviously, there has to be some factor beyond energy, which appears to be from a divine source.
There are those who have suggested that it is light, but can light alone create human life or plant and animal life? Perceived as divine light, the possibility exists.

The phenomenon which involves the creation and sustaining of life has always been a mystery and will continue to be a mystery to human beings, for now

One thing that we do know is that there is a lifeline, that is diminoing and it will stand the test of time. Inherent in this lifeline is the dimino thread, which demonstrates and exerts some kind of energy, which in turn allows the propagation of new life, when the necessary requirements for initiating and sustaining life are met.

Bridging the gap between science and religion is important and bridges are essentially links, like energy, as the dimino thread in the diminoing lifeline.

Reflections: Thinking About the Future

From dimino to reverse dimino: Transition is a familiar phenomenon

Thinking about the future involves thinking about the past and present, as well.

We might ask ourselves, what we really know about transition, as a past or present phenomenon, in contrast to what we could know about it in the future? What is its signification to us in terms of our future healing, health, happiness and wholeness?

We do know that transition is a familiar phenomenon and always has been.

There is a multiplicity of transitions that we encounter every day and while we perceive them as happening, we do not necessarily comprehend them fully.

Examine a few of these transitions in the light of a dimino phenomenon that occurs, with the possibility of a
reverse dimino phenomenon occurring as well, at some point in time or space.

Reviewing this for a moment, with the dimino phenomenon, a dimino stands and remains standing, while a domino falls in terms of a chain reaction. The dimino always stands alone or independently and stands the test of time, as opposed to the domino which falls when one domino falls, as each one of the dominoes is dependent upon another. This is what I have called the dimino effect versus the well known domino effect.

Look at the phenomenon of transition or change from a number of different directions.

First, look at the phenomenon of the transition from life to death and then, consider the possibility of a transition in reverse or from death to life? Is there something that occurs that represents a reversal to the other stage? Or, is there a cycle?

We do not consider the phenomenon in this kind of transition as being cyclical from our western perspective, while in eastern thought, it could be perceived that way. The phenomenon of the transition from life to death and the transition from death back to life is considered a natural phenomenon in the east. Thus, there is a reversal.

Consider for a moment, from our western perspective, the transition phenomenon that happens in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

"He is risen."

This entails the mystery of His crucifixion and resurrection. It is accepted by Christians everywhere, as a reality. We do not see this as being reversed at any time or in any place, in the history of humankind.

Once Christ has risen, He is permanently resurrected. He has risen one time for people everywhere. His work has been fully completed for all time and eternity. This resurrection and redemption cannot be reversed and it is never considered in terms of a reversal, by Christian thinkers.

The re-birth phenomenon is also accepted by Christians everywhere and interpreted as an experience that a person goes through, once having been awakened to the reality of the gift of salvation, so freely given through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This phenomenon is not ever reversed either. "Your sins are forgiven." Once one's sins are forgiven, it is eternal forgiveness, based upon God's love for humankind.

The re-birth phenomenon is accepted in eastern philosophical and religious thought and is considered as feasible by them, because it is believed that a human being can have an actual divine awakening, through some kind of an enlightenment experience. This would not be reversed, at any point in time either. It is perceived differently than in the west.

What about the phenomenon of change with respect to science?

We are all familiar with what we refer to as the scientific phenomenon of a metamorphic change or transition.

For example, a rock which is subjected to heat, pressure and water can be changed with respect to its physical constitution into something that is more compact and distinctly crystalline in nature. We can observe and document a change in physical form, structure and substance. We do perceive these kinds of changes as reversing either.

We frequently use the term metamorphosis to depict the transition or developmental change that occurs when a butterfly emerges from its cocoon, or when a pollywog becomes a frog. These phenomena do not reverse any point in time, or in any part of our world.

The expression metamorphosed was also used by Shakespeare to depict the change that took place in a human being.

"You are so metamorphosed, I can hardly think you my master."

This phenomenon of transition or change would not have been reversed either. Once a person has changed, this change is permanent.

Darwin' theory of evolution depicts the phenomenon of humankind evolving or going through a transition, with respect to various kinds of life, from plant life to animal life and then, progressing to human life. Darwin did not propose a reversal in his theory of evolution.

Then came de-constructionism.

Current thought tries to expand upon Darwin's theory of evolution by proposing that the opposite is true, also. If humankind has evolved, is it possible that they can de-evolve also? Is there such a thing as de-evolution? In this case, it would be proposed that there is the possibility of a reversal of the initial phenomenon.

Christians do not accept the Darwinian theory and perceive the creation of man in terms of God as the Creator of man, animal and plant life.

The phenomenon of emergence, as we know and understand it, is relatively easy to comprehend. We can perceive something emerging from what appears to be nothing or something and coming into existence.
The possibility of reversing the emergence to de-emergence represents a question that one may or may not be able to answer, at this point in time. Can something emerge and then de-emerge?

One can do that with laughter. Laughter can emerge from people in terms of time and space and then, disappear or de-emerge. So can a smile on one's face.

The phenomenon of the transition from non-existence to existence remains a mystery. The transition from existence to non-existence is still a profound mystery, as well. While there are many theories based upon personal experiences globally, no one has yet come up with a perfect theory with respect to these kinds of transition or a potential reversal.

Are these transitions cyclical in nature, too?

In the east, one might say yes. In the west, we would probably say no, but then there is the middle road as well. Yes, no and maybe so.

In the east, the question of the transition from non-existence to existence, as well as its opposite, can be considered in terms of a spiral phenomenon that occurs.

There is the possibility of the transition from a higher plane to a lower plane or the reverse, in terms of the next cycle of life that occurs, contingent upon one's actions in the previous life.

Here, it is assumed that good actions or behavior in one's life will result in a higher plane of existence in the next life, while not-good actions will lead to form of punishment, where one takes on a lower plane of existence, in the next life. One may have to go back to an earlier form of animal of plant life.

Christianity perceives good and evil in terms of the possibility of forgiveness for sin, in the light of heaven or the darkness of hell. For the Roman Catholic religion, there is the possibility of purgatory.

In the east, we see the non-existence to existence phenomenon happening. It is an upward spiral, or a downward spiral depending upon how one's life is lived.

A person might return to his or her next life as an animal or a plant, because of something that he or she has done, with respect to that animal or plant in this life. If one steps on a spider in this life, then one might become a spider to be stepped upon, in the next life. In the next cycle, the person's status could be reduced.

If the action has been particularly good, that status might be improved. For example if one is kind to the poor in this life, he or she might be elevated to royalty, in the next life.

The phenomenon that occurs in the transition from the nectar of a flower, to the substance that we know as honey, is an acceptable phenomenon to us. We can actually observe the transition of the nectar of a flower, as it is collected by bees, eventually becoming a substance we know as honey. We do not perceive this as being reversed.

What occurs is a change or transition in its essence. The element of its being undergoes a phenomenon, through which its substance becomes increasingly evident.

Consider the possibility of the healing power of the nectar in a flower, versus the healing power of the substance we know as honey.

The phenomenon of  this transition, when considered as a whole, could lead us into a whole new realm of discovery and awareness, with respect to healing, health and wholeness.

What we do not know at this point in time, is the ideal stage in the actual phenomenon of transition or change, at which there the optimal benefits can occur. We also do not know the actual stage where the most harm can occur either.

The changing of the seasons also represents another transition or change, that we do not ever question, but we never consider the seasons with respect to a reversal either.

In summary, one might suggest that there are many phenomena happening that do undergo reversal, while there are also those that do not undergo reversal. Perhaps these could be placed upon some kind of a continuum, as well.

Comparing these phenomena and others, may awaken us to the reality that transition stages or phases are important in terms of healing, health and wholeness, in the life of human beings. We can also see how much we do not know about transition and change in terms of actual scientific discovery.

What we need to know is whether or not the dimino phenomenon of transition is a part of a process, that can bring something from non-existence into existence and then, change it again or reverse it back to a stage where it is of benefit to humankind.

Is there actually a reverse dimino phenomenon?

We may not ever have more than a partial answer to this question.

Again, this appears to be heading into the issue of the transition from essence to substance or from substance to essence. That takes us back to the phenomenon of non-existence to existence and existence to non-existence. The one thing that we do know is that change is a familiar phenomenon with respect to the past and the present.

With respect to thinking about the future, this one thing is certain. Transitions will continue and will remain a familiar phenomenon to humankind.
