Awaken the dreamer: Step over the dragon
Unlocking one's innate potential is a wonderful dream
that thousands of human beings have had over the centuries. Few have ever
managed to achieve the fullness of that dream.
Why is that? What is missing or lacking? Why do so few
people actually achieve the goal of fulfilling their innate potential?
Can you achieve your full potential? Yes, you can.
Perhaps it is a matter of awakening the dreamer within
you, but you may need to step over the dragon also.
Everyone has the ability to dream and to dream big. Your
innate potential is there, but the question is how to tap into it. First, get
into reality mode, rather than a non-reality mode of existence. This is for
real. It is not some fantasy that will disappear in the wind.
This is more like tackling the ultimate biscuit recipe,
where the biscuit is perfect or it becomes a dumpling. Making biscuits is a
fragile art. There is a fine line between good ones and ones that are not quite
as good.
Compare it to fine tuning a violin. There is a pure note
that rings true and clear, when the violin has been properly tuned. When it has
not been tuned correctly, instead of being on key or right on pitch, it is off
key. The note is sour.
Compare that to the sleeping or dormant dragon, within
each one of us. This can be a good dragon or a dragon that is not good. The
dragon can be one that is beautiful, in its own way or it can turn out to be a
horrible monster.
Taking that one step further, the same holds true for the
dreamer inherent within us. The end result can be good dreams or nightmares.
For just a moment, take a look at the human mind. It
always holds the innate potential for something. It may be the tabula rasa that
represents a blank slate waiting to be filled. Perhaps there is nothing there,
as what was there has been erased or the slate is continually being filled and
erased. But, the potential for something is always there, because it is innate.
What does it take to fill the slate? Is it a dream
perhaps? Is the dream to be a beautiful one or one that is ugly in its ultimate
manifestation?
Which one does a person choose to awaken, the dreamer or
the dragon within?
One must suggest that is a matter of choice, at least to
some extent.
There is also the realm of the beyond, where something
always lies dormant. It may be positive or it may be negative. For the sake of
simplicity, keep it as simple as possible, in order to make this feasible, but
at the same time, allow the dream of fulfilling one's potential to grow.
Remember that this represents the dream of fulfilling
one's full potential, not just going part way. If you cannot see a dream there
right now or at least think one into place, you can take a seed and plant one
there, for the future. Do that now.
From then on, that dream seed needs to be encouraged to
grow. It must be developed further and further. Stretch and make the dream grow
higher.
Herein lies the danger. Is the dream beyond reality's
scope? (Can one really ever get beyond reality?) Is your dream out of this
world or is it still in this world?
Remember that the sceptic is always held back by fear.
Ask yourself in terms of reality, is the dream
fathomable? Is it feasible and fashionable? Or, is it just too fearful to
behold?
There is always one step beyond and one more step beyond
that step, if one can see it.
Remember that dreamers are always at least one step
beyond the dragons, in their perception.
One might ask if this is a call to awaken the dream
within or is this a call to awaken the dormant dreamer? You don't want to
awaken a dragon. The dreamer, when awakened, can step over the dragon.
It is a matter of filling the tabula rasa over and over
again, as quickly as something is erased.
It is a virtual call to enter the realm of beauty, beyond
the realm of the beast. Fill the mind with new dreams, hopes and aspirations,
above and beyond what lies in the dragon's lair.
If you are going to dream, then dream big. Dream dreams
that are beautiful, powerful and successful!
The potential of the dreamer lies dormant momentarily,
but the dream can be awakened. It has to be unearthed, discovered or
re-discovered. Can you find it? Yes, you can.
This is a challenge to take the tabula rasa that exists
now, into the future. It is a wonderful and exciting opportunity for everyone
who is up to the challenge. It is amazing what the human potential has to
offer, if only it can be perceived and realized.
Again, the empty slate is waiting there to be filled. It
is huge, so vast in size that it is almost beyond human comprehension. It is
ever filling, erasing and re-newing. It is always wide open, as a realm of
human exploration and discovery. It is not beyond our reach as human beings.
That is the place where the dimino map is drawn!
It involves a call for the dreamer to awaken and to step
over the dragon, in order to fulfill his or her innate potential. So go ahead,
awaken the dreamer within you. Be the perfect dreamer, with the perfect dream
of fulfilling your God given potential, but always step over the dragon
carefully, first.
